It was an absolute privilege to play the main character β€˜Aisha Brown’ in Rappamuffin, written by one of my favourite childhood author’s Benjamin Zephaniah.

The character really resonated with me, I felt emotionally, physically and deeply connected. The similarities between myself and Aisha were almost uncanny, it was more like stepping into the past than stepping into character.
